Kim is a 26 year old mom of three, who's favourite genre of dance is dancehall with a heavy focus on the waistline and booty movements.
Kim started training on her own in 2014 and overtime taught herself the art of twerking. By 2018 she had started to take her dancing more seriously and began training remotely with an instructor in the U.S, as well as travelling to Toronto to continue to grow her skills.
Kim discovered this style during a rough time in her life and and she hopes to help people find the same joy and healing in twerking that she's found.
Heajee is passionate about dance and movement and its ability to transform and heal. With experience in go-go dancing, burlesque, and other performance, she brings a unique and fun perspective on dance to JHDC.
Heajee discovered Pound Fit at a time in her life when she needed a new way of expressing herself and moving her body. Once she tried it she knew she had to share it!
As a musician and creator, she loves the musicality aspect of Pound, and how the rhythm and beats can take you over. Not only is it an amazing workout, but it’s a great way to release any pent up energy and be part of a community.
