Present in the urban dance scene for 10 years as a performer, Axelle began in 2011 a bachelor's degree in dance, creative profile at UQAM. From 2011 to 2014, she participated in various creative projects, notably with the RUBBERBANDance Group, Alexandra "Spicey" Landé (Ebnfloh) and Saxon Fraser (Juxtapose). She is constantly invited all over the world to give workshops, especially in Japan, Russia, New York, China, etc. Co-founder of Forêt Noire, a company that explores the limits of waacking, she has also organized the biggest waacking event in Canada for 6 years: “Hot Mess”. Over time she eventually developed a taste for creation, she presented her works at Tangente, Festival vue sur la succession, Festival Accès danse, Carte blanche, TUDS ... She has become a reference for urban dance in Montreal through her involvement in various events and organizations. She has recently been elected as administrator within the Regroupement Québécois de la Danse, an experience that will be very enriching. She continues to create, dance, teach, organize and above all innovate in all areas to which she touches.
